Boaz Solossa

 

Profile Football Stars | Boaz Solossa | This resulted in the Indonesian national team manager Peter Withe crossing his name off the team list from the national team in 2006. His brother, Ortizan, is also a footballer. Boaz plays at Roma while Ortizan plays at Persija. They met in a match at the 2005 Liga Indonesia final, where Persija beat Roma 3-2. Boaz Solossa Theofilius Erwin is an Indonesian footballer.  


When playing for the national team, he uses the name "Boaz." His family name "Solossa" is commonly mistaken as "Salossa" or "Salosa." Boas was born in the Solossa family, a well-known family in the province of West Papua. Boas was born in a footballing family as well, being the youngest of five children.


Boas' international debut was against Turkmenistan in 2004 for the 2006 World Cup qualification where Indonesia won 3-1 and Boaz made two assists for his fellow team mate Ilham Jaya Kesuma. Boas is Considered to be a bright prospect in Indonesian football after performing brilliantly in the 2004 Tiger Cup, where Indonesia was Defeated by Singapore in a home and away match, the which resulted in an aggregate score of 5-2 to Singapore. In the group phase, Boas managed to score four goals and along with Ilham Jaya Kesuma, WHO scored 7 goals, both led the top Scorers chart.
