Martin Montoya Torralbo


Profile Football Stars | Martin Montoya Torralbo | Montoya started playing football for hometown club CF Gavà, moving to FC Barcelona's youth system, La Masia, at the age of 9. Torralbo Martín Montoya, is a Spanish footballer who plays for FC Barcelona B as a right defender. In the 2009-10 season, Montoya Contributed with 22 matches as the Luis Enrique-led team returned to the second division, after an 11-year absence. Towards the end of March 2011, rumors surfaced linking Montoya with Valencia CF, with the Che willing to pay the € 3 million buy-out clause of the player.


In 2011, Montoya earned his first cap with the Spanish under-21 team. He was picked by manager Luis Milla to the squad competed in That That year's UEFA European Football Championship, and started in all the games as the national side won the tournament in Denmark. On 25 August 2011, Montoya was selected for the first time to the full team by coach Vicente del Bosque, for games against Chile and Liechtenstein.
